Dr. Jeffrey Augustine grew up just outside Washington DC in Arlington, VA and has always had an interest in nature and science. Growing up in a family of 5 kids he was the “family massage therapist,” helping everyone with their body pains and ailments. After high school he was awarded an academic scholarship and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hawai’i Pacific University. Following college he worked as a marine biologist helping to study and protect fisheries in the Pacific. Although living on the ocean made for some great adventures and stories, he felt he could do more good elsewhere.
Seeking a more rewarding career on land, Dr. Augustine moved to Florida and became a licensed massage therapist in 2015 and worked for a chiropractor in St. Petersburg, FL. After seeing the profound benefits of chiropractic and how patient’s lives improved, he decided to return to school to become a chiropractor himself. Dr. Augustine earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences and a certification in Acupuncture. Dr. Augustine uses his soft tissue knowledge and trigger point therapy alongside his chiropractic techniques to help his patients reach their optimal capabilities.
